I Am Not Forgotten

Chaplain Shena Carey serves as the vice president of The CTC Network, where she combines her extensive educational background and passion for community service to make a lasting impact. She holds a Doctorate in Community Ministry and Social Work, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the complexities of social issues faced by vulnerable populations.

One of her most significant initiatives is "I AM Not Forgotten," a program dedicated to raising awareness about the urgent needs of children living in The Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Southern Africa. Through this initiative, Shena and her team strive to support students from underserved communities by providing the essential resources they need to succeed in their education. Each school year, the program sets ambitious goals to ensure that as many students as possible receive backpacks filled with school supplies, including books, stationery, and other learning materials.
